Slovenian company Kontron (TM Iskratel) has officially confirmed ISTEL 3000’s authorization to supply and service telecommunications systems, equipment, software, and related licenses manufactured and supplied under the Iskratel trademark.
The new Letter of Authorization confirms the continuation of the companies’ long-standing partnership and defines ISTEL 3000’s authority within Ukraine. The authorization is valid until 31 December 2030.
Kontron (TM Iskratel) is a Slovenian manufacturer of telecommunications systems and related components, including hardware, software, and associated licenses supplied under the Iskratel trademark.
Under the Letter of Authorization, ISTEL 3000 is an official authorized partner of Kontron for these products in Ukraine.
The authorization confirms ISTEL 3000’s right to:
officially supply Kontron (TM Iskratel) products;
provide services related to their implementation and operation;
provide warranty and post-warranty maintenance services;
carry out repairs and other work related to the products;
prepare commercial proposals and conduct supply negotiations;
provide customers with manufacturer-issued confirmation of the authenticity and origin of the products;
represent the relevant solutions in procurement procedures.
Kontron also confirms that ISTEL 3000 possesses the rights and capabilities required to exercise the above authority.
When implementing telecommunications projects, the technical specifications of the equipment are not the only important consideration. Customers must also be confident in the equipment’s origin, the lawful use of the software, the availability of warranty support, and the ability to obtain ongoing maintenance services.
This is particularly important for projects involving telecommunications operators, the transport and energy sectors, the public sector, and critical infrastructure enterprises and facilities. Such systems are designed for long-term operation and therefore require professional technical support throughout their entire lifecycle.
The authorization confirms that ISTEL 3000 is officially authorized to work with Kontron (TM Iskratel) products in the Ukrainian market and to support them at every key stage—from selecting the appropriate solution and preparing a commercial proposal to supply, implementation, maintenance, and repair.
One of the key provisions of the Letter of Authorization is ISTEL 3000’s right to provide customers with manufacturer-issued confirmation of the authenticity and origin of the products.
For customers, this means being able to obtain official documentary confirmation that the equipment, software, and licenses originate from the manufacturer and are supplied through an authorized channel.
This helps reduce the risks associated with purchasing products of uncertain origin, lacking a valid warranty, or for which appropriate technical support cannot be obtained.
ISTEL 3000 also holds Ukrainian Trademark Registration Certificate No. 378301 for the ISKRATEL trademark, covering goods and services in Classes 9, 37, and 42 of the Nice Classification. The corresponding trademark rights in Ukraine are valid until 14 May 2034.
The reliability of telecommunications infrastructure depends not only on the quality of the equipment but also on the availability of qualified support after it has been commissioned.
Kontron’s authorization confirms ISTEL 3000’s right to provide warranty and post-warranty maintenance services, carry out repairs, and perform other work related to products supplied under the Iskratel trademark. For Ukrainian customers, this establishes a clear equipment support model and enables them to plan its operation, maintenance, and modernization over the long term.
The Letter of Authorization also confirms ISTEL 3000’s right to represent Kontron (TM Iskratel) products in procurement procedures. This is particularly important for public-sector and critical infrastructure projects, where customers require documentary confirmation of the supplier’s authority, the products’ official origin, and the supplier’s ability to provide ongoing maintenance and support.
ISTEL 3000 is authorized to prepare pricing and commercial proposals, conduct negotiations concerning the products, and provide the relevant confirmations issued by the manufacturer.
