ISTEL 3000 is entering a new phase of strategic development with the appointment of its new Director, Mr. Viktor Honcharenko — a highly qualified expert with deep technical expertise and over 30 years of experience in managing telecommunications infrastructure at the level of a national operator, JSC "Ukrainian Railways".
Throughout his career, Mr. Honcharenko has successfully led large-scale projects involving the deployment of digital telephone exchanges, DMR-standard radio communication, operational and technological communication systems, rolling stock thermal monitoring systems, and the development of modern telecom networks. He headed Ukrzaliznytsia’s main communications enterprise, held senior positions within the relevant departmental division, and coordinated collaboration with government agencies, telecom operators, and international railway organizations.
At ISTEL 3000, his efforts will focus on the implementation of advanced Kontron telecommunications solutions in Ukraine, enhancing service quality, and strengthening long-term partnerships.
Key objectives under his leadership include:
Ensuring reliable technical support, service, and software updates for ISKRATEL equipment;
Expanding ISTEL 3000’s involvement in the reconstruction and construction of telecommunications networks;
Promoting Kontron’s dispatch communication systems for the railway, energy, metro, and gas and oil transport sectors;
Advancing solutions in 5G, broadband access, the Internet of Things (IoT), and multimedia services;
Establishing a training center to support the professional development of client personnel;
Creating a centralized spare parts warehouse to ensure rapid project support across Ukraine.
