Solutions for telecommunications operators

 SI3000 CS Software Switch

The SI3000 software switch can be applied in public communication networks as Class 4 or Class 5 softswitch, as well as in technological as a PBX.

The software of the software switch is an NGN-based communication platform. It provides the organization of communication services of standard Class 4 and/or Class 5 switches with built-in augmented service types for business service organization, as well as integration of additional application servers/services using open standard protocols/interfaces.

Key features:

Channel aggregation

Tariffication

Regulatory functions (LI, NP)

Standard protocols

Open interfaces for connecting existing OSS/BSS systems, as well as implementing new services

Carrier-grade reliability and geo-resilience

Cost optimization

Solutions for residential subscribers as well as corporate clients

The SI3000 Call Server software supports a diverse range of functions and protocols, as well as enables the operation of networks of various topologies in both IP and mixed TDM-IP environments.

Class 4 solutions incorporate advanced routing and tariffication mechanisms. Changes in Class 5 solutions meet the primary needs of residential subscribers and also cater to the demands of corporate clients (IP Centrex).

Furthermore, this platform provides services based on intelligent communication networks, such as number portability, ensuring easy integration of servers in a multi-operator environment, which is regulated.

The enhanced SI3000 technology and SI3000 CS software solution are available on various platforms with numerous configuration options aimed at cost optimization and subscriber base growth.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The SI3000 CS software solution, forming the basis of various Class 4 and Class 5 solutions, including number portability and IBC-Hosted UC, provides a high level of security, reliability, and versatility. It also offers functional compatibility with the widest range of other products. The software installation is carried out on hardware that meets the following requirements: CVM processor board for the ATSA platform, CVN processor board for the MEA platform, virtual machine on COTS servers, as well as on CVI, CVK, CVJ boards.

SI3000 cCS Compact Software Switch

It is a modern multi-service communication management software product for small and medium-sized ATS that provides full integration of the telecommunications system with analogue, ISDN and IP networks and is designed for medium and large corporate companies with specialised communication networks

(railway, energy or government agencies).

It has a unique ability to connect to a wide range of traditional networks and interfaces already in use in various industries.

The SI3000 compact software switch can be used in public switched telephone networks as a local exchange, as well as in technological communication networks as a PBX.  The software of the compact software switch (cCS) is a communication platform based on NGN/IMS technologies and is divided into the following types depending on the tasks:

- PBX (Private Branch Exchange) - for organizing standard PBX communication services with built-in additional service types, as well as integration with additional application servers/services necessary for efficient staff operation;

 - OTZ (Operational Telecommunication Zone) - for organizing specialized operational communication, with highly efficient dispatching required in transportation, energy, and industrial enterprises;

- PNS (Personal Notification System) - for organizing reserved personnel notification systems, object notification systems, staff-dispatcher communication systems, integration with video surveillance systems, and video information.

These software products can be integrated based on a unified switching core, establishing technological communication with the  dispatching elements and public address systems. This software provides a modern ALL-IP solution for existing analog equipment.

- The SI3000 cCS can be applied in corporate (PBX), telecommunication (transit station) environments, and used in multi-service access networks as an emergency controller, providing local switching and access to specialized services (R controller). It offers the following features:

- Centralized or distributed network architecture

- Utilization of centralized management, where one SI3000 MN system is used for provisioning, inventory, and emergency signal management across numerous network objects

- Ensuring redundancy and high reliability

Tasks:

- Implementation of centralized management, where a single SI3000 MN system is used for provisioning, inventory management, and control of emergency signals across numerous network objects.

- Addressing the shortcomings of communication platforms that simultaneously support modern and specialized traditional interfaces.

- Adapting the platform for future growth and expansion.

- Protecting investments. Complete equipment replacement is not a viable option, as SI3000 cCS can be installed on various hardware platforms.

- Providing specialized server and peripheral boards for the SI3000 MED architecture, including the PIA analog interface board necessary for connecting technological analog interfaces.

- Utilizing standard server hardware platforms based on x86 processors.

Functions:

- VoIP signaling for trunking (SIP-T, SIP-NNI).

- VoIP signaling for access (SIP, MGCP, H.248).

- Service delivery platform via standard open protocols such as VoiceXML, CSTA, SOAP, and ParlayX.

- Unified voice messaging.

- Notification services.

- Dispatching.

- Interactive Voice Response (IVR).

Collection and sorting of tariff data.

- High reliability.

- Support for industry-specific analog signaling types.

Tasks and functions
